In Cuba, residents are seeking relief from summer heat and blackouts by sleeping on the seaside boardwalk. A construction worker, among others, was found sleeping on Havana's sea wall, known as the Malecón, in an attempt to escape the heat. The blackouts are a result of the island's energy crisis, which began when the US cut off Cuba's main energy source, oil, in January.
