A man in his 20s died after exiting a moving pickup truck. He was traveling with two others, including his sister and her boyfriend, who was driving. The group had left a Whiskey River nightclub and was heading home when a fight broke out between the siblings.

The man attempted to leave the truck while it was moving, trying to lower a window and then opening the rear door. Despite efforts by the other occupants to keep him inside, he stepped out onto the freeway. The incident occurred on northbound IH-45 near Scarsdale Boulevard at about 2:30 a.m.
