Forecasters were tracking multiple storm systems. A weaker storm had maximum winds of about 45 mph. This storm was expected to be absorbed by a stronger one later.

The stronger storm had winds of 60 mph and was located farther out. No coastal warnings were in effect for either storm. Another storm, with 50 mph winds, was also being monitored.
