President Donald Trump ordered work to refurbish a historic part of the Executive Mansion. This project, which started in June, is almost finished. The front columns had been covered since July, but now the covering is gone.

The work included fixing damage from age and weather, as well as making security improvements. Doors on one side of the building were also upgraded. Further details about the project are available, including the timing of its completion, which is expected to be before a state visit in late September.
